Sykes Park New Playground & Resurfacing

Project Summary

A capital request was approved in 2021 to build a new playground unit at Sykes Park.The playground unit at Sykes Park was old and had become a hazard as some of the steps and other features were deteriorating. The village had our mechanic do some welding to keep it usable. A beautiful new playground unit from Playworld was completed in the spring of 2022 with a slide, climbing features,mini rock-wall climber and more. A moon rock climber was also installed near-to replace an old playground piece that was outdated. The safety surfacing was patched in the areas that needed to be removed during assembly.
