Kingsland Park Seawall

Project Summary

This is part of Westchester County’s $6 million+ capital project. The sea wall along Kingsland PointPark and the Hudson River had been deteriorating even before the village and the county signed off on the IMA back in 2003. Now, 19 years later, the work is about to launch. November of 2022 will begin a 4-phase project that will include stabilizing the shoreline, preventing further erosion and making for proper and improved drainage. This project will last approximately 18 months and the county and village are working together so that park closure times will be limited.
