Food Scrap Composting

Project Summary

Drop-off sites for a food scrap composting project have been established through the guidance of the Sleepy Hollow Environment Action and Climate Smart Committees committees. These test sites are located at the James F. Galgano Senior Center, at Village Hall Parking Lot on Beekman Avenue and on lower Continental Street. The public can also purchase food scrap collection kits at the Village Clerk’s office.
