ClimateSmart Task Force

Project Summary

The Village received a grant in the amount of $73,000 to create a climate action plan with a 50% match required from the Village.  A climate action plan is a detailed and strategic framework for identifying measurable actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build community resilience to climate change. 

The Village Board awarded this project to VHB Engineering. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops to learn more about the initiative and how to participate.

The work will take up to a year to complete and will include a large amount of community involvement - we want your ideas for a greener, more sustainable Sleepy Hollow!
